Memorial Hospital was established in 1964 and is licensed for 15 acute care and 25 skilled care beds. It is a private, nonprofit hospital that offers a full range of primary care services. In addition to the Active Medical Staff residing in the community, the hospital is served by a Courtesy Staff of approximately 100 specialists from Lincoln, Hastings, Kearney and Grand Island. Patients generally do not need to leave the community for specialty care due to the variety and frequency of specialty outpatient clinics available at the hospital. Services in Aurora include:

HAMILTON COUNTY COMMUNITY CONNECTION
The Hamilton County Community Connection collaborative effort was started in 1996 with a mission to "Make Hamilton County a Healthier Place to Live, Work, Play and Do Business." Currently there are five focus areas for the group's efforts:

WELL WORKPLACE INITIATIVE
Memorial Community Health, Inc., joined the Wellness Council of the Midlands
in 1998. The Well Workplace initiative provides an organized, systematic approach
to providing health promotion activities at the worksite. The Wellness Committee
at Memorial can provide Employee Health Fairs, Lunch and Learn Seminars and assistance
for developing a comprehensive wellness program at your business site. Contact
