New PA at Memorial Hospital and Memorial Health Clinic

September 11, 2014

Memorial Community Health has recently added a physician assistant to its roster of family practice health professionals.  Doug Hadden, PA-C, MPAS, graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies degree in 1995.  Since then, he has been a practicing Physician Assistant in western Nebraska.

With their two daughters now living in Lincoln, Doug and his wife, Julie, decided the time was right to move to this side of the state.  “The community of Aurora is appealing to us not only because of its location, but more importantly because of the impressive amenities for a town this size.  Both the hospital and clinic have great facilities and offer a busy and varied case load.  I’m excited to be a part of MCHI’s healthcare team and my family is excited to become part of the community.”

In addition to seeing and treating patients on a daily basis, Doug also actively promotes a health and wellness lifestyle.  Leading by example, Doug trains year-round for triathlons and has completed 25 of them in the last 15 years.

Doug is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Nebraska Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants.  In his spare time he enjoys following Nebraska sports and spending time with his family.
