2011 Caring Kind Employee

Memorial Community Health is proud to honor Dawn Claus as the 2011 Caring Kind Employee. To say that Dawn is passionate about providing excellent food while insuring food safety is an understatement.  Dawn made a positive impact in the facility from the moment she joined our staff.  Her quiet, upbeat manner is contagious and her good will towards others is evident in her every day actions.  Whenever there is a dietary need, Dawn’s first response is consistently, “We can do that.”  In the past year, while managing two dietary departments, one on the main campus and one at the assisted living, she has met untold interruptions due to construction.  Dawn moved the dietary storeroom multiple times and gave up her personal office to allow for a more convenient storage area for her staff. During all the changes, construction frustrations, and interruptions, Dawn always has a smile and insures we are fed nutritious, wonderful meals.  Thank you Dawn, we are proud to honor you as our Caring Kind Employee.
