Memorial Community Health's Crisis Standards of Care protocol provides a transparent, fair, equitable, and consistent approach to allocation of scarce resources during a declared emergency.

In the event that Crisis Standards of Care is implemented at Memorial Community Health, this protocol provides guidance to ensure critical resources are conserved and distributed efficiently and ethically across the healthcare system.

We will initiate Crisis Standards of Care only when there is no acceptable alternative and will discontinue this protocol as soon as it is possible to return to our usual standards of care.
