Specializing in Family Medicine
Why did you choose family medicine? I enjoy interacting with and caring for the entire age spectrum. I think family medicine providers are the last true “general medicine” doctors. Also, I love the variety family medicine provides, as I can see patients in the clinic, hospital, nursing home, as well as perform procedures all in the same day.
What do you enjoy most about being a provider and working at MCHI? I have enjoyed getting to know everyone so far. Everyone is very friendly and happy to be here.
What can a patient expect during a visit with you? You can expect someone who listens and tries to meet the patient’s goals through mutual decision making. I’ve been told I am quite thorough and that patients appreciate the clear explanations of their treatment plan.
What's one thing you want people to remember most about taking care of their health? The choices you make in terms of what you put into your body daily have a far more significant impact than even the most advanced medical therapy, supplements, or the expertise of any doctor ever could.
What are your favorite things to do in your free time? I enjoy golfing, running, and spending time with my fiancé, Jess. I like watching athletics, especially Husker football/volleyball, and Marquette basketball.
