Specializing in Emergency & Acute Care
Why did you choose ER/acute care? Medicine has always been a passion of mine. Each endeavor in the medical field has been a joyous calling/mission I have felt to do and to serve others. I love to not only help people, but to solve problems. I feel most comfortable in the ER/acute care role. ER/Acute care are based not only in evidence based practice, but in the comfort of algorithms. If A, then B. If not C, then F and so on.
What do you enjoy most about being a provider and working at MCHI? MCHI is like home to me. From the first day I started here, I felt accepted, appreciated, and heard. This is a wonderful medical community that treats all their employees and patients like family. We all work together to provide the best possible care for our patients.
What can a patient expect during a visit with you? Unfortunately, visits with me should be short and to the point as I see acute care and emergency room patients only. I try to listen (and hear) your concerns and ask how you feel I can help you best. You and I are teammates in your health care. I always fit in compassion and education to each visit.
What's one thing you want people to remember most about taking care of their health? I hope you feel I listened, evaluated, and treated appropriately with compassion.
What are your favorite things to do in your free time? I spend a lot of time on home D.I.Y. projects. I love to spend time with friends, family and pets. When it is warm, I hike and explore. When it is cold, I go with friends or family to somewhere warm to hike and explore.
