Bobbi Jo Sandberg Receives Caring Kind Award

Bobbi Jo SandbergMemorial Community Health is proud to announce that Bobbi Jo Sandberg has been named a Nebraska Hospital Association 'Caring Kind' award recipient for 2017. For 38 years, The Caring Kind award has been given to Nebraska's most caring hospital workers – those who have demonstrated compassion for patients, cooperation with co-workers, and dedication to excellence in their job responsibilities.


Bobbi Jo is a Registered Nurse at Memorial Community Health in Aurora. She was selected for the award based upon her teamwork, leadership, and willingness to go above and beyond in caring for patients. Bobbi Jo is knowledgeable and works in a variety of areas within the hospital, including obstetrics, emergency room, outpatient clinics, outpatient infusion/treatment, and medical/surgical floor. On top of being an outstanding RN, Bobbi Jo is one of organization's diabetic educators and is a certified lactation counselor.


"Bobbi Jo is an all-around excellent nurse and is well deserving of the Caring Kind award," says Lindy Mosel, Director of Nursing. "Not only is she dedicated to using her expertise in providing compassionate care to patients, she is also well-respected by her co-workers as a positive and integral member of our team."


Sandberg received the award at the 38th Annual Caring Kind Awards Luncheon on October 27th during the Nebraska Hospital Association's Annual Convention at the Embassy Suites Omaha-LaVista Hotel & Conference Center.
