Heidi Hammond Receives Caring Kind Award

Memorial Community Health is proud to announce that Heidi Hammond has been named a Nebraska Hospital Association 'Caring Kind' award recipient for 2015. For 36 years, The Caring Kind award has been given to Nebraska's most caring hospital workers – those who have demonstrated compassion for patients, cooperation with co-workers, and dedication to excellence in their job responsibilities.

Hammond has been working as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Memorial Community Health for the past four years.  She was selected for the award based upon her initiative and positive approach to caring for patients and for showing teamwork in all she does.  "Heidi works efficiently and accurately and always with a positive attitude that spills over to others," commented Lindy Mosel, director of nursing for Memorial Hospital.

Hammond received the award at the 36th Annual Caring Kind Awards Luncheon on October 23rd at the Embassy Suites Omaha-LaVista Hotel & Conference Center in LaVista.
