Leeta Christie Receives Caring Kind Award

Memorial Community Health, Inc. in Aurora is proud to announce that Leeta Christie has been named a Nebraska Hospital Association Caring Kind award recipient for 2021. For 42 years, the Caring Kind award has been given to Nebraska's most caring hospital workers – those who have demonstrated compassion for patients, cooperation with co-workers, and dedication to excellence in their job responsibilities.

Leeta Christie, RN, Memorial Community HealthAs a registered nurse and infection preventionist at Memorial Community Health, Leeta provides science-based guidance for best practices in infection control, emergency management preparedness and risk quality programs. Through prevention, education and early detection measures, Leeta's role supports the organization's goal of keeping the safety, health and wellbeing of patients, residents and employees first and foremost.

"Leeta's guidance is essential and appreciated at all times, but the importance of what she does has never been more apparent than through the current COVID-19 world-wide pandemic," commented Diane Keller, Chief Executive Officer at Memorial Community Health.
