MCHI Accepts Many Medicare Advantage Insurance Plans

We have been made aware of concerns that Memorial Community Health is no longer accepting Medicare Advantage. Please be assured that WE DO ACCEPT and are In-Network with many Medicare Advantage insurance plans. In addition, a special message regarding Medicare coverage:
During Medicare annual open enrollment for 2025 coverage (which runs from Oct. 15 - Dec. 7, 2024), we encourage Nebraska seniors to closely consider the coverage they would receive through traditional Medicare vs. Medicare Advantage. In general, Nebraska hospitals have seen Medicare Advantage plans limit the providers you can see, limit services, place burdensome authorization rules on patients and providers, and surprise patients with unexpected out of pocket costs. MCHI is committed to providing exceptional healthcare to our community and do not want anyone to be surprised by their options should they need care. Because of these issues, at this time we encourage recipients to consider opting for traditional Medicare along with any traditional Medicare supplemental plans that may be desired.
