MCHI Welcomes Katelyn Honas as Administrator for MCC

Katelyn HonasMemorial Community Health, Inc. (MCHI) in Aurora, Nebraska, is pleased to announce that Katelyn Honas has joined the organization to serve as Administrator for Memorial Community Care, MCHI's long-term care nursing home division.

Katelyn received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Health Care Management from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from Bellevue University.

With a diverse career in healthcare, Katelyn has worked in various settings, including clinics, hospitals, and home health. Most recently, Katelyn served as Administrator at a senior living facility, overseeing long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, and assisted and independent living services.

"I am thrilled to join the team at MCC and continue my mission of ensuring our seniors receive the exceptional care they deserve," shared Katelyn. "Growing up in a rural community, I understand the importance of community involvement and giving back. I look forward to contributing to the Aurora community and making a positive impact."

A native of Wilcox, Katelyn and her husband, Jordan, recently moved to Aurora from Kearney. With Jordan being an Aurora native, the couple and their dog Max, are looking forward to being a part of the community. In her free time, Katelyn enjoys leisurely walks with Max, cheering on Husker football, practicing embroidery, and spending time at the river or lake in the summer.
