Memorial Health Clinic in Harvard Re-Opens Oct. 2nd, 2024
Memorial Community Health, Inc. is pleased to announce the re-opening of Memorial Health Clinic's Harvard location starting Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024.
"We look forward to returning to Harvard to provide local healthcare services to the community," stated Brandi Nigro, Memorial Health Clinic manager. "We now have a full staff of providers on board to serve all of our clinic locations - Aurora, Clay Center, and once again Harvard, with comprehensive family medical care for all ages."
In September of last year, Memorial Health Clinic was forced to make the tough decision to temporarily close their Harvard location pending provider changes and the recruitment of new family medicine providers. "We didn't take that decision lightly," says Brandi. "At the time, we were experiencing changes in provider schedules, a couple were taking leave for exciting life events, such as having babies, and we were also awaiting the arrival of new providers to join our team. Now that we're at this point, we are excited to have staffing levels that provide the capacity to cover all three of our clinic locations."
Located at 203 E. Walnut in Harvard, the clinic will be open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 to 4:30 PM. Appointments can be made by calling 402-772-5330. Providers who will regularly be at the Harvard clinic location are Logan Mertlik, PA-C on Wednesdays, and Kachine Banahan, APRN, FNP-C on Thursdays.
A Provider "Meet & Greet" Open House is scheduled for Wednesday, September 25th at the Harvard clinic from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The public is invited to attend. Refreshments and a light lunch will be served.
In addition, on the first two days of being re-opened, the Harvard clinic will be offering a convenient way for local residents to receive their flu shots on Wednesday and Thursday, October 2nd and 3rd from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Appointments are requested and can be made by calling 402-772-5330.
