Miriam Halstead Receives Caring Kind Award

Miriam Halstead, RN - Caring Kind Recipient 2019Memorial Community Health, Inc. (MCHI) is proud to announce that Miriam Halstead has been named a Nebraska Hospital Association Caring Kind award recipient for 2019. For 40 years, the Caring Kind award has been given to Nebraska's most caring hospital workers – those who have demonstrated compassion for patients, cooperation with co-workers, and dedication to excellence in their job responsibilities.

As a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital, Miriam is a true leader in nursing and a great asset to the night shift team. Miriam's positivity and go-getter attitude fit perfectly within the framework of the "Care Matters" culture at MCHI. "Miriam is a skilled and knowledgeable nurse who provides excellent patient care," says Lindy Flynn, RN and Director of Nursing at Memorial Hospital. "She truly understands the value of teamwork and it's an honor to have her on our healthcare team."

Halstead received the award at the 40th Annual Caring Kind Awards Luncheon on October 18th during the Nebraska Hospital Association's Annual Convention at the Embassy Suites Omaha-LaVista Hotel & Conference Center.
