Welcome Kachine Banahan, APRN, FNP-C
Memorial Community Health, Inc. in Aurora is pleased to announce the addition of Kachine Banahan, APRN, FNP-C, to the team of family medicine professionals at Memorial Health Clinic.
Kachine received her Associate degree in Nursing from Cloud County Community College in Concordia, Kansas. She then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Fort Hays State University, followed by a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Walden University. Kachine is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Kachine has more than five years of experience in nursing, with a background in emergency medicine, trauma, and hospital outpatient care. In her new role as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Kachine will be available by appointment at our Aurora clinic for primary family medical care.
"I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as a provider in Aurora," said Kachine. "Having grown up in a small town, I truly feel at home at MCHI. I am excited to work in a rural area where I can not only grow professionally, but also work, teach, and support my patients on their health journeys."
Kachine is a native of Fairbury, Nebraska. She and her husband, Scott, live in Central City with their son, Archer, and their family dog, Scout. In her free time, Kachine enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, reading, watching sports, and working on home renovation projects.
Appointments with Kachine are available starting in August and can be scheduled by calling Memorial Health Clinic at 402-694-3191.
