Mental Health - Psychiatry

Psychiatry is the branch of medical science that works with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental illness. Memorial Hospital currently offers the following Psychiatric clinic at our Aurora facility:

Mary Lanning Healthcare - the lanning center for behavioral services

Below is a list of some of the services that our psychiatric mental health professional provides for patients 12 years of age and older.  This is not an all-inclusive list and you should call to inquire about specific services.

  • Psychological testing and evaluation
  • Neuropsychological testing and evaluation
  • Medication management

Examples of conditions treated include:

    • Depression
    • Severe and persistent mental illness
    • Substance use and addiction
    • Attention/concentration issues
    • Stress or anxiety
    • Mood swings
    • Sleep disturbances

All care is coordinated with the patient's primary health care provider and a referral is needed.
