Wound Care providers are specially trained in assessing and treating complicated and non-healing wounds and determining the cause so the most appropriate treatment plan can be used.  Memorial Hospital currently offers the following wound care clinic at our Aurora facility:

Below is a list of the conditions that our wound care team treats. This is not an all-inclusive list and you should call to inquire about specific services.

  • Diabetes-related ulcers on the legs or feet
  • Surgery-related wounds
  • Radiation tissue damage from cancer treatment
  • Bone infections (osteomyelitis)
  • Pressure-related ulcers
  • Venous (vein) ulcers
  • Minor burns

Treatments for these wounds may include:

  • Advanced dressings
  • Debridement
  • Negative pressure wound therapy
  • Advanced cellular-based tissue products
  • Offloading casting
