The operations board of directors of Memorial Community Health, Inc. (MCHI) has announced that CEO, Diane Keller, will be retiring from the organization effective June 12, 2022. Diane Keller, CEO, MCHI

Already a milestone itself, Keller's chosen retirement date of June 12, 2022 will mark 50 years of service on behalf of the board, staff, patients and residents of MCHI. Keller started at MCHI in 1972 as a registered nurse in the hospital and began her journey to CEO through various roles. As she gained experience, she took on the roles of staff education, utilization review, and as needed, served in interim capacities as director of nursing for the hospital, director of nursing for long-term care, and clinic manager. Just prior to becoming CEO in 2004, Keller served as MCHI's human resources director.

"It goes without saying that Diane's expertise and experience will be greatly missed," commented Dennis Ferguson, president of MCHI's board of directors. "While her knowledge of our organization is irreplaceable, Diane has actively worked to surround herself with a talented team. As a board, we're committed to identifying the right person to come alongside the team and lead the organization going forward."

The MCHI operations board of directors has contracted with Bryan Health's Talent Acquisition and Management team to assist in the recruitment of a new CEO. The process will begin after the first of the year.
