Diane Keller, NHA Excellence in Service AwardMemorial Community Health, Inc. (MCHI) in Aurora is proud to announce that Diane Keller has received the Nebraska Hospital Association's highest honor, the Excellence in Service award.

Presented at the 2022 Nebraska Hospital Association (NHA) Annual Convention in La Vista in October, The Excellence in Service award recognizes a hospital/health system administrator or senior executive who has demonstrated outstanding administrative skills, professional performance, health care organization involvement and significant leadership.

Diane recently retired as CEO of Memorial Community Health after 50 years of service to community health. Her journey of excellence in healthcare began at MCHI in 1972 as a newly graduated registered nurse. As she gained experience, Diane took on the roles of staff education, utilization review, and as needed, served in interim capacities as director of nursing for the hospital, director of nursing for long-term care, and clinic manager. She also served as MCHI's human resources director prior to becoming CEO in 2004. Throughout her tenure, she managed and oversaw numerous building projects which made way for expanded services and procedures to be performed locally.

"I am honored to receive this award," commented Keller. "Looking back, I was fortunate to have been offered my first job at MCHI. Any career success I have had is because of the support of the board, the staff, and the communities served by MCHI."
